Policies

Since 1989, Flames Gymnastics Academy has been training gymnasts of all ages- from toddler to teen, from beginners to elite. We have a history of producing State, Regional and National champions. Our policies are designed to protect our athletes, families, and staff.

  • When you register your child for class, you are paying for your child’s place in that class, not their attendance. We cannot be responsible for every child’s attendance. Please do not ask us to prorate, refund, or carry forward fees for classes missed. Call us if you are having schedule problems and we will do our best to help. Parents of all levels- from our littlest to our top level gymnasts- are more than welcome to stay and watch their children from the viewing area.

Please be polite and kind to each other: No gossiping or foul language in the observation areas. Please supervise your children who are not participating in a class. No going into the gym area. If, for some reason, you need to talk to your child, please ask the office personnel for assistance.

  • Parents and family members are more than welcome to watch their children from the viewing area. Please refrain from yelling, coaching or gossiping while in the viewing area. We strive to keep a positive atmosphere. Parents, as well as children may be asked to leave if problems with behavior arise. Your help in keeping our gym environment “fun loving” is greatly appreciated.

  • We do not promise or owe make-up classes. However, we will do our best to get your child scheduled into another class of the same level if room is available. All scheduled make-ups must be attended within the month that is missed. Maximum of 1 make-up class per month. If your child needs to miss a class, please call the office prior to the child missing the class. Make-ups are honored if a call is received prior to the missed class. Please do not come for a make-up class without scheduling it in advance with the office. Missed classes may not be used toward waiving tuition.

  • All tuition is due by the 1st of the month and is late after the 7th. There is a $10 late charge per child. If you choose to use a credit/debit card, there is a 3% transaction fee and the charge must be over $25.00.

  • We offer a $10.00 discount per month for each additional family member enrolled.

There are no family discounts for developmental, pre-team and team members.

  • There is a $36.00 registration fee for the first child and $24.00 for the second child. If more than two children are registered, additional sibling registrations fees are waived. The fee is prorated depending on the month the student begins. Registrations are due on January 1.

  • All checks returned by the bank will be charged a $30 service fee. Checks will no longer be accepted once a check has been returned.
