Beginner/Advanced Classes by Age

Ages 3-5
Kinder-gym (Morning & Evenings)

For little ones ranging from 3.5-5 years old. This is our youngest independent class. Coaches use circuits including small and large motor skill movement and motion as well as easier gymnastic skills.

Ages 6 & Up
Beginning Girls Level 1

For girls who are eager to learn gymnastic skills. Students are instructed in basic developmental skills on four events. The class focus is improving their flexibility, strength, balance, and body coordination. 

Optional level 6-10

Flames Gymnastics encourages gymnasts to be well rounded by balancing family, school and gym time. We educate on nutrition, as well as having proper manners.Hopefully these life lessons help them cope with what lies ahead at the Peoria Location (Olive only) .

 

Specialized Classes

For girls that have mastered the fundamentals and want to move up to the competitive scene of gymnastics. Avondale, Peoria Location (Olive East – TEAM), Bell.

Cheer and Dance

For those who want to train for Dance and Cheer. From beginning to advanced tumbling, acrobatics and flying. Perfect for students aspiring to become active in cheer. 

Skills Time

Saturdays only for Cheer and Dance. 

Jazz

Jazz offers a variety of exercises that help dancers develop strength, flexibility, and conditioning, as well as rhythm, precision, and creativity. Jazz class will consist of warm up, isolation’s, stretches, across the floor progression, choreography combinations, jumps,turns,leaps and kicks.

Ballet

Dancers will develop technique, flexibility, balance, body placement and popper body alignment. They will gain self confidence with the use of their arms and upper body. Ballet class will consist of warm up, Barre work, center exercises and floor work.

Tap

This class is designed to help students develop style, rhythm, and sound through tap dancing. Tap class will involve intricate footwork that will build coordination skills, flexibility, and movement. Tap class will consist of center floor warm up, barre work, across the floor combinations, Choreography combinations.

Strength and Conditioning

S&C is a class designed to improve physical performance and technique as a dancer and athlete. This class will improve dancers flexibility, movement quality, strength, balance, and self confidence. Weekly class syllabus will consist of center floor warm ups, barre work, across the floor combinations, and technique exercises.

Tiny Dancer Combo

Students will learn the basics and fundamentals of dance,develop motor skills, while building confidence, structure and independence. This class will consist of a combination of Ballet, Tap, and floor gymnastics.
